   About 1000 fighters a day are dying on the Russian side, more or less. Today it was 1180. Dead because some old men seek old glories which never were glorious in the first place. A staggering waste of lives and potential because some child rapists want to keep the press from broadcasting where their dicks have been.

   Putin and Trump should never have gotten their hands on power. Those who enabled them will remain long after these two are gone. They will seek power. What are the two utterly and completely corrupt nations going to do about it? Start more pointless, vainglorious wars, generating avalanches of corruption, yet never deal with the corrupt? Is that what George Washington fought for? Lincoln died for? Is this what the Kennedys took bullets to their skulls for?

   War is humanity's shame on display in mirrored pools of blood. They all are.

     @steter For the leaders it's not about old glories, but about getting/keeping power and wealth.

     The "old glories" come into it for the benefit of their gullible followers.
