   When I see someone I haven't seen in a while, I often call them "buddy", "chief", "skipper", "boss", "captain" or something similar. They think it's a term of endearment. It's not. I can't remember their name

     @fesshole This is why every woman over 40 in the American South calls everyone "honey" or "baby." Our power of recall went wherever our estrogen did.
