Lesser long-nosed bats at the bird feeder. Shot with DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro camera in ultra-slo-mo mode, which involves a lot of interpolation. The first and last 1.5 seconds are regular 240 fps slo-mo.
They're super fun to watch!
Tonight I'm going to reposition the camera to the side more, to get a better view into the "flower" on the right, plus add some fill light on the left.

1. Night time at a hummingbird feeder, illuminated by a small video light. The feeder is a jar of sugar water with four plastic, red, flower-shaped feeding ports. Large brown bats fly into the frame, slow down and stick their long tongues into the ports for a second or two before dropping off and flying away. This is in ultra slo mo, ~900 frames per second, so you can see every wingbeat, something that is normally a total blur because it happens so fast. The bats are cute, with little bellies swollen with the sugar water. They will process this through, pee it out and keep drinking until the feeder is empty. This is just a few seconds of video slowed way down, but at normal speed when there are many bats, they all zoom in and out and don't seem to be in competition with each other or to be very territorial or possessive about the feeder, unlike hummingbirds who will spend more time fighting over it than eating.
