From ~2000-2013 I used to say/use/prefer Python. Since 2014 I use/say/prefer Guile. -

Ah right, I get that. Not only would/could Guile be overkill, it also might be lacking functionality.My choice for Guile is probably not rational. I came to love this free, modern, lisp, and will suffer through the growing pains.
Besides supporting a purely functional style, which matches with how my brain works, Guile's politics align with mine.

@janneke ah, but I’m the quest to find the tiniest languages that are good at one think. Guile is overkill for just processing text IMO
