Happy #MountainMonday everyone :)
Today I share a favourite from a trip years ago into the high mountains of the Assiniboine Range in #Canada during fall when the golden larches were at their absolute peak. The golden larches dotting the landscape in golden colouring at every turn.
Highly recommend backpacking this region. It is absolutely stunning.

1. A classic autumn alpine landscape featuring vivid golden larch trees surrounding a rocky, still lake that reflects a dramatic snow-dusted mountain peak under a partly cloudy sky. Scattered boulders fill the shallow foreground waters, leading the eye back toward the treeline and the imposing peaks beyond. The rich contrast between the brilliant yellow larches, grey rock faces, and fresh snow captures the brief but spectacular larch season in the Canadian Rockies.
