   Friend's dad growing up had long hair that he tied back into a ponytail and it was the first time I'd ever seen a man with long hair. I was like "huh??? he can't do that he's not a woman!!"

     I lost mine due to extreme stress from abuse. My stepfather and mother abusing me over the years caused my hair to fall out from thyroid issues and subsequently, I contracted vitiligo

     remains to be seen if i'll lose mine. dad lost all of his around 30. but mom's dad had hair (nothing crazy but he definitely wasn't balding). my brother's 34 and still going strong though he claims he's losing it from smoking too much. i don't see it

     I'm on the verge of cutting mine, it's almost at the longest it's ever been (longest was in 2019) but goddamn is it annoying. It's not even long enough to tie it all back into one ponytail yet. I feel ugly with it. And I'm not the personality type that can pull it off. Only way I'd let it grow insanely long again is if a lady friend wanted it
