     oh and having been the victim of horrific sexual violence as a child, I make joke about that too (though only my own, not that of others.)

     There is humor in everything. My son is Autistic. When he was little his prognosis was really crappy. His mother and I worked with him and worked with him and he has succeded beyond what anybody thought possible. We would never have survived that without finding humor in it. Now we provide a large protion of the funding to a school that aims to do that for other autistic kids, whose parents might not be as well equipped as we were.
