   They’re off the rails — though this may be rational self-preservation for Netanyahu, who’s politically DOA the minute his country is not at war. A reasonable theory (not mutually exclusive with others) is that he’s willing to sacrifice countless lives and the viability of his own country to save his own hide.

     Israel has gone insane. I can only wonder how long this will continue before the nation collapses under its own disassociation with reality.
