@vii morn. Been fighting plan9 to get drawterm to work, I'm sure I just missed some important documentation somewhere. I got one step closer. From connection refused to no common communication/keys. but I've had enough for now.

@kirbius The only times I struggle with drawterm working is when I use the wrong one (9front's drawterm isn't compatible with base plan9 and vice versa) or when I fuck up booting as a cpu.

That looks right to me; that's basically how I drawterm into an installer when I don't have direct access to the system

@vii I actually don't think I've set a password key thing on the fileserver. or set any of that shit up, so i think when i put password in it isn't working cause the key doesn't exist. but I also don't know how to setup the keys on gefs.

@kirbius oof, I don't know gefs offhand, I've stuck with cwfs64 for the most part, and not even for technological reasons, I just think it's funny to think that @w0rm is in my hard drive.

@kirbius @w0rm aye, then you’ll probably need to run tcp564 and tcp567 in addition to tcp17019.

@kirbius @w0rm I know the feeling. It took me a number of experiments and attempts to even get to the point where I have these vague memories of port numbers that I know are run with aux/listen1.

@vii @w0rm I wish there was a 9front/plan9 mumble for tech support. I was on the plan9 libera chat and that kinda helped but ircrc is kinda ass and i want something that is restart proof lol.

@vii @w0rm My only other issue is plan9 is on my thinkpad, which the trackpad works too well, I keep hitting it with my palms and coming off the command i'm on. Part of the reason I really wanted drawterm to work lol.
