   @carbide Nice job! I'm glad my meandering live streams were helpful! For the sound, check the tow audio chips (left & right channel) behind the NuBus slots, I'd be some cap juice got over there. Unsure about the video signal, but keep cleaning and good luck! 🤞

     @mac84tv I scrubbed the board pretty well with IPA, and plugging speakers in work just fine. My working guess is that whatever internal circuit/switch controls shutting the internal speaker off when external speakers are connected is at fault. Any ideas where that lives?

     • This Does Not Compute

     Coming in just under the wire for #MARCHintosh is the successful recap of my Mac IIci! It was my first time doing surface mount work and it went pretty well. I credit the numerous times I’ve watched @mac84tv and @thisdoesnotcomp demonstrate it on YouTube for not making any major mistakes. Two issues remain - the internal speaker doesn’t work, and the screen output doesn’t always work on first boot. Any tips would be appreciated!
