TSA at Atlanta airport: 20 min, at 5am this morning. Pretty long line but moved quickly, and airport was well laid out and staff were efficient.
And yes, ICE is working the passports / ID station. (I made it, foreign passport, no questions)

@skinnylatte Domestic terminal I assume?
It was probably the longest security line I’ve ever been in. Ever. I’ve flown a lot.
Like you couldn’t see the end of the line, had to walk across half the huge terminal to join it, go around the back, down the stairs to start the line. Possibly not a TSA delay thing and just ‘Atlanta moves A TON of people’ at any time.
So it was impressive to have cleared it at all in 20.
@jer yes, but they also don’t have passport control leaving the country, only when entering
@skinnylatte I'll be flying out from ATL next week, internationally. So I'm monitoring to plan our travel from there.
@jer checked the daily pinned megathread posts here
@skinnylatte already bookmarked after you posted it the other day :D
Safe travel now!
@skinnylatte In Germany trains don‘t have a security line at all 😇
@hobo_ahoi there are any for US trains either but this was an airport
