   There's a documentary I can't find on any torrent site. I decided to just buy it to support the creator. It's published on mymoviesplus.com though, and it requires DRM to play. Fuck if I'm enabling that ever. Of course, yt-dlp refused to download anything with DRM, even if you have --cookies-from-browser.

   I know you can just use a screen recorder and record the whole thing manually, but surely there's a better way to break browser-based DRM (that of course won't show up on any search engine).

     You should get it a try ... but like I said, yt-dlp won't do any DRM encoded content.

     Yea I searched everywhere first. There's a DVD version I could have ordered, but I wanted it in 1080p. I've already asked for a refund since I can't play it.

     I mean, I could just load up another browser like Brave and OBS/screen record it at that point and share it myself .. I'd just have to let it sit there for an hour ... Widevine doesn't do anything hacky on X11 where if you record it you get a black box, does it?

     I had to create another Firefox profile with DRM enabled to snag the keys. Had to look through a lot of forums and stuff that's not easily findable. Quite a learning experience.

     Same feel. I see the m3u8 (HTTP livestream playlist format, which is just an 8 added to the original m3u local playlist format) and DL is obviously download. RE? Reencode? .. No idea on the N_.
