I drove from Monterey to the mountains today across the valley. There was almost no traffic on the road. It was pretty similar to early in the pandemic.

I wonder if that's because of fuel prices.

I paid $5.89/gal in Prather to top up before heading up the grade. The cheapest I saw on 99, 168, or 152 was $5.49/gal.
