   "Multiple refueling aircraft and an E-3 Sentry AWACS command and control plane are among the aircraft damaged, according to preliminary information. A photo showed significant damage to an E-3, but the image could not be independently confirmed"

     "They thought they were gonna do another Venezuela and instead we've functionally put a bullet through the freedom of navigation, fucked up our newest carrier, lost a not insignificant number of tankers, overstressed the rest of the tanker fleet and lifter fleet, and lost an AWACS.

     It's just so bleak that this is how we burn our Cold War materiel inheritance?"

     "This is an aircraft that costs nearly $300 million and is no longer being made. Its replacement, the E-7, costs roughly $700 million. AWACs aircraft are not only highly valuable but also in high demand"
