   My heart breaks for the victims of the Colorado Springs shooting, but AOC isn’t here for hollow expressions of sympathy.

   After Lauren Boebert offered “thoughts and prayers” to victims and their families, AOC was quick to call her out for her own culpability in the violence.

     @georgetakei - "Thoughts and Prayers" has taken its place alongside "Well bless your heart" in the world of false decency. LB sees a massacre of LGBTQ+ people and picks out a canned response, knowing she thinks those poor people deserved it.

     Right-wingers are people who think letting your kids see a drag show is grooming them to become some variant of LGBTQ, but letting them see Boebert and countless other right-wing luminaries brandish and/or fire semiautomatic carbines in the context of "We're gonna win and get our way" in no way contributes to the acceptance of firearm violence in the US.
