   There were things like VRML and other 3D Netscape plugins way back, but I'm guessing you're not thinking of those.

     I'm really having a hard time finding this. So you know how Flash cartoons were rendered locally in real time as vector graphics instead of being a pre recorded video? I remember there being a program like that but for 3d content. You could download cartoons and load them in this program and it would play them back, but instead of 2d vector graphics, it was a 3d engine. The only download I remember for it was the song Ho by Ludacris.
