Today, Bridgy Fed begins expanding beyond microblogging, starting with long-form 📜↔️📃

If your Fediverse blog or website is bridged, your posts will be bridged to the Atmosphere, as standard.site documents!

You'll need to take steps to be indexed by major platforms across the Atmosphere, and we've outlined them in the post and our docs: https://blog.anew.social/long-form-comes-to-bridgy-fed/

If your Atmosphere (Bluesky, Blacksky, Eurosky, Northsky, etc.) account is bridged, all of your standard.site publications and documents will bridge over to the Fediverse and the web!

We also make sure your standard.site's reference bsky posts reach Fediverse microblogging platforms as Notes with a link to the blog post to keep the experience the same across ecosystems! Similarly, Fediverse reader platforms like WordPress and Ghost will get the full article.

Long-form is an important medium, and one that's growing on the open social web. We think this is a great start toward bridging ecosystems further than just microblogging on Bridgy Fed.

We can't wait to see what you write, no matter which platform you use.
