   Great, Malm is going BLESSED IS THE FLAME in HOW TO BLOW UP A PIPELINE but instead of striking against the world that is killing us unconditionally, Malm argues for it in the context of reform and engagement with the state. Even repeated the Holocaust resistance stories. 🙄🙄🙄

     @adamgreenfield thanks. I'll keep an eye out for your book though verso books are rare in this country. Yeah his deployment of Holocaust resistance in PIPELINE rubs me the wrong way unlike in FLAME.

     @abolisyonista You know his proposed solution for the conditions that vex us is literal War Communism. (I wonder who gets to be Lenin?) I need to be careful in what I say in public – fellow Verso author, widely beloved on the left, etc. – but it astonishes me that anyone gives his prescriptions a moment’s time.

     @abolisyonista I really hate how a lot of people use the Holocaust as a rhetorical tool completely disconnected from people's actual stories

     (for the record I'm Jewish and I think Blessed is the Flame gets it right)

     @tsvga frustrating to see how Malm mobilizes resisting despite futilities to the Holocaust for like... reformist engagement with the very system that he (perhaps rightfully) analogizes to the Holocaust.
