You know the song "The Rubber Band man" by The Spinners*, is playing tunes on an elastic band something people actually do? I haven't come across it. The really thin ones can make some right squelchy almost 303 type noises.
*not to be confused with the folk band The Spinners. The other one was called The Detroit Spinners in the UK.
