   Metatext seems great, but should I try other (iOS) apps, too? It seems long dormant apps have awoken from their slumber with long-overdue updates.

     I like Toot! for two reasons. The jpg image can be properly uploaded as jpg and the progress can be seen. And that the text of the ALT attribute is put in the image.

     @Rachel_Thorn @oyster It is amazing! I loooove the way you can switch accounts within the app. So beautiful and intuitive. Also everything feels so much more „round“ as in: the fonts and sizes and colors just fit.

     Tiny drawback: Well the development was on hold for more than a year so some new features like edit (without delete) or following hashtags is not implemented yet. But that doesn’t annoy me yet and I‘m a heavy user for years now.
