So local well known newspaper reporter gets a hint for his story via my viral TikTok, asks me where to find the thing in my video. I replied to his message. He publishes a story. He doesn't mention where he learned about it, not even a thank you to my message. Awesome.

Sabrina Rani Furminger (sabrinarmf@mas.to)'s status on Tuesday, 22-Nov-2022 01:40:09 JST Sabrina Rani Furminger @Yukari Ugh. I hate that so much. It reminds me of the innumerable local and national reporters who leapt on my #MeToo story about the Vancouver film and TV industry in 2017 and approached/interviewed all of the people I featured in my story without mentioning who had broken the story in the first place. I think it especially bothered me because of how much emotional labour had gone into telling that story with sensitivity and care. I'm so sorry that happened to you.
