   few know this, but TempleOS doesn't have audio because Terry wrote a driver for hdaudio but vmware only emulates an archaic combined midi+ac97 sound card, so he scrapped it and abandoned the idea altogether

     @Inginsub I wish that Terry was alive longer, he could have done more with TempleOS. that, and he was also entertaining. Maybe partly because of his schizophrenia, but we all liked him

     @benis_redux I already did that, and I have working decoders for wav, flac and mp3. Now I need the hdaudio driver so it works on my templeos laptop too
