      @lcamtuf@infosec.exchange Some people have the wrong idea of what a "derivative work" is.

      If you make rewrite something using an LLM it still counts a derivative work, because it's not an original work, it is just a transformation of an existing work.

      This is like saying if you converted a picture from png to jpeg the original copyright no longer applies because it's a different picture.
