   because i love giving affection i end up being a temporary emotional fix for some people, while they find someone who has something more substantial to give, and then when they do i'm set aside. even when it's explicitly just friendship from the very beginning this happens

   but most people never really talk to me at all. at least they're being honest

     @jasmine You do deserve better. You deserve someone who loves receiving all that affection you love giving, for starters. You do deserve someone who considers you as substantial as it gets.

     i guess maybe my ex was right after all, i should've just been grateful she wanted me around at all and let her do with me whatever she wanted

     i mean that's what i did! but then afterwards i got it into my head that i deserved better, but i'm not so sure anymore
