     @mikael @liaizon Using the Soapbox frontend can and will ward off some folks from your instance, so it is a meaningful question.

     @liaizon Why would you need a fork? Sounds more like you are describing the content and people you wish to see on a (Soapbox) instance.

     @andreasio @cinebox there is a long history here that I honestly don't care to go into. But if you do your own research into the situation I am sure you can find a pretty thorough coverage of the situation (from many angles) as its been written about for many years

     @cinebox well there is the start of a pretty active Pleroma fork called Akkoma that was recently started. But Soapbox and Rebased are both diverging a lot from Pleroma and I want nothing to do with filing issues in either of their repos because of many of the folks who are involved.
