     @Craftplacer it probably needs web socket notification service removed and replaced with UnifiedPush from upstream. This may help (???) to get notifs more reliable and less battery intensive.

     @Craftplacer @captainepoch it runs background service for notifications. You can disable it through settings for each profile you have.
     
     There is background worker that wakes up each 5 minutes to check notifications but on my side, it just did never.

     @a1ba @Craftplacer I'll be off my pc for a week, that push notifications provider is a task added to the todo list and planned for the next release.
     
     Disable push notifications for now, I can't do anything about this at this moment.
