   There have been a lot of barriers going up along the side of Highway 1 near me, and today they were doing some work behind one of those barriers. I was able to talk to a CalTrans guy and ask about this; in this spot, they are adding a bus stop. (Too bad we have so few buses along this route.)

   This is the project, with lots of good improvement: improved curb ramps, buffered bike lanes (but no bollards, it seems), more crosswalks, repaving where it's badly needed, etc.

     @jeridansky You have more buses than Portola Valley (which I was trying to get to recently) although I'm sure more would be helpful.
