Alan Greenspan was credited for the phrase, irrational exuberance. The current economy experiences such a level of impunity that that there is no rational criteria being applied everything is just taken at face value.
Every element of the economy has forsaken it’s critical faculty, a level of fiduciary and economic negligence that cannot go unpunished and I will argue is of a piece of the epstein economy

It is an abdication of basic fiduciary responsibility. The GFC was a product of the auditor sector, giving up, analyzing the financial instruments that led to the crash.
They basically didn’t want to appear stupid and when the instruments became impossible to value, they just gave up and copied the assessment other people made.
In the current case, the market doesn’t even care about basic solvency. This is a completely different level of impunity and irresponsibility.
I hope to get around to actually reading this article myself, but the world of assumptions that people use when working through a scenario matter a lot here.
One of the chief issues is the assumption that the promises of AI are in any way realistic. If anyone has been reading the articles and research by Edward Zitron, he is pointing out that the basic financial statements being published by these companies demonstrate that the entire project is financially insolvent
