     @debacle @finn @movim what is a space for xmpp? we have MUCs, and there are already specs for threaded replies, though maybe we could do with a xep to allow sub topics :ablobcatderpy:

     The proposed standard is still in a state of flux:

     As far as I understand, a space is a set of multiple group chats (MUCs) on the same instance, that have the same members and permissions.
