  @mstar i should be relatively safe where i am. the avalanches are mostly concentrated either high up in the mountains around ski resorts and narrow side valleys or at the beginning of the main valley by the looks of it. i love in a fairly wide section of the valley and far down enough for avalanches to reach me.

    Bei Goppenstein ist ein Zug entgleist. Alle wurden evakuiert, wenige verletzt. Die Strecke bleibt bis Samstag gesperrt.

  a couple of days earlier, there was an avalanche closing of the road to the car transport train, afaik no one was injured in that case

  @puniko Ich meine, deine Zusammenfassung ist nicht ganz richtig. Die Lawine hat nicht den Zug getroffen, der Zug ist in die Schneemasse der Lawine gefahren, die auf dem Gleis lag. Schau die Bilder auf "dem Bund" der Front der Mika.

  Aber wenn es wirklich so geschehen wäre, wenn die Lawine (ist ja nur ein Teil davon, wenn man auf dem Bild der Galerie sieht) wirklich den durchfahrenden Zug getroffen hätte - ich weiss nicht, ob er auf dem Gleis geblieben wäre - und rechts gehts runter...
