if i were paranoid i would think the reason why genai is allowed to be is to make sure people would rather talk to a machine before they talk to each other.

because people talking to people is the beginning of all trouble if you think about it.

a job is a trap? people talk to people.
a product is toxic? people talk to people.
the big shots messed up? people talk to people.

if nobody has any friends, then it's finally quiet in the woods.
