     Yep, and there's lots of possible issues. Instance blocking or blackholing, terrible cheap VPSes, using Mastodon instead of something lighter such as Pleroma, and of course network issues you don't know about come to mind.

     @ActionRetro for some reason if I search for a user on another server at aus.social I’m seeing a 503 error. Barely know how this works so could be them.
