     @ScottishGreens @Infoseepage I remember visiting Amsterdam and finding the free ferry the most alien thing on the trip. Just free, dependable public transport running constantly - unthinkable in the UK.

     @ScottishGreens @Infoseepage Yeah. Even if you don't care about people being able to get to jobs etc. without having to own and maintain a car (And why wouldn't you!?), the boost just from reducing congestion must be enormous.
