This weekend had to be one of the worst to be on Twitter. So understandably, people are leaving.
But, it appears to most that social media is nothing more a platform for receiving validation from people who agree with you, so once you get disagreements, things will flare up.

Seeing people argue, call each other out, and fight over everything is mentally taxing to follow, let alone simply witness.
Fewer things interest me these days.

I am empath so I get drained if I follow along. And I am afraid I am simply going to get numb and not be able to care about people and things that matter to me.
It’s at the point where I start hating.
