     @990000 what surprise me more is not that the LLM drained the wallet is that they were eager to pay money, in the first place, to do an activity that could be done for free with their own phone. Why would anybody do that?. This is surely a very dumb timeline.

     Hypothesis: the feeling of power that comes from the idea of having a (kind of) servant is more powerful than the practical consequences of using the LLM
