    It’s bonkers that MacBook Pros are still shipping with 0.5 or 1TB of storage, unchanged for years, even though:

    1) storage prices have 📉 precipitously (AI bump notwithstanding)

    2) MacOS has gotten bloatier and bloatier

    3) file sizes keep 📈, esp photos/vids

    Where do folks store their photo libs?

      @aram@aoir.social They are obviously giving you less storage on purpose so you are most likely to use iCloud so they can spy on you.

      @aram@aoir.social I guess Apple is either expecting most of their (potential) users to use their devices only for emailing and web browsing/cloud based workloads, or they want to push their iCloud subscriptions (or both) :neocat_think:
