     @vivi honestly it's reinforcing my behavior to be very picky with the people who i associate with, tribalistic people with no stable ethics or morality are like wild animals, they can even be nice but you never know if/when they might turn around and flip

     i think i would legit quit my career and enlist if it meant defending my country from them, but credit where credit is due, i respect most of the xnfm ppl (and some of the poasties with swastikas in their nicks), for at least being honest
     
     like i feel like if if i was to ask any of them, at least they would be like "yes we want the opposition purged, yes its based when we do it, no its not based when they do it, no we dont see anything wrong with that, no we dont care about "by the books" or other gay shit like that thats for shitlibs :femalegigachad: ". like stop jerking everyone, including yourself, around and just be honest

     @vivi their morality is might makes right and whatever is beneficial is right and all there is is survival of the fittest, so basically a good shorthand for no ethics or morality, even if it theoretically exists as an entity. these people will not even share with others they view as against them and just want their tribe to win at all costs, so fox brought up a good point, they do not even exhibit the altruistic behavior of animals in extreme cases, so a better description of some may even be called demons

     @shibao well like i think these people do kind of have some moral framework going on in the background. its just that they either arent conscious of it, or that they arent honest about what it is, but it definitely exists i think and is predictable. you just have to infer it via experience and subtext of what the person says and does, instead of from what they literally tell you they believe
     
     its kinda hard and doesnt come natural at all.... case in point i still fall into the trap believing others literal words if they are repeated to me often enough. but its definitely doable, ive gotten way better at reading subtext over the years, and the two or three big disillusionment events (the past few days being one of them tbh) have been a big learning experience

     @shibao @vivi and they don't even view it as flipping. To them, you flipped, because you went from being in their tribe to being a traitor/infiltrator/etc when in reality you remained consistent and they're cursed demons.
