     @mathlover It’s the current architecture, aka 25 microservices just to generate the Home timeline. Instead of just making it chronological.

     @mathlover “Hydration” in programming is a general term that just means “filling with data” from any source.

     I think it just means it’s getting that data ready to be consumed by the next thing in the chain.

     @alex chronological means you could stumble upon undesirable content. Even YT got rid of the "from newest to oldest" sorting option. It's the new normal only authoritative sources in your feed.
