   I pretty much hate GenAI, and I much prefer human-written alt text to that created via AI.

   But this is an AI use I never thought about, and it sounds really positive.

     @jeridansky My blind friend has been using a whole bunch of technology for years and he was super excited about the current crop of computer vision systems. I think now he's a bit more aware that sometimes they are making stuff up, but I'm not sure that translates to wanting to go back to an earlier generation of computer vision systems which were much less colorful to interact with.
