   I mean to be clear, there is nothing special about the White House that magically makes the occupant of it President. It's simply tradition.

   If you impeached Trump, and he refused to go, you could in fact just set up the federal government someplace else.

   But again, at some point the generals are gonna get two phone calls, from two people claiming to be President, and they are gonna have to pick one. And well, fucked if I know how THAT story ends.

     @AnarchoNinaWrites i'm putting my money on the country just balkanizing especially with how much of trump policy is just about punishing the "blue" parts of the country and eventually people will just get sick of that shit and take their ball and go home

     But any such scenario would require a bunch of people who are, ideologically, way more aligned with Trump than they are with anyone reading this, to impeach him, and also the army, including his domestic private SS (DHS/ICE/CBP) to not attack American people, and the establishment of essentially an alternate government.

     I feel like we're asking a lot of the Chuck Schumers and Lisa Murkowskis of our society here. Not sure how likely any of that feels.

     Feel like the best case scenario is some kinda South Korean looking thing where we all surround the guy's house and wait for defectors to escape until the fucking scumbag realizes it's time to eat the bullet or come out with his hands up.
