I feel like nothing new of significant importance has been invented since the so called smart phone

That since the smart phone they have only made improvements on pre-existing inventions

These individuals seem to claim this problem started much earlier

Note : Some improvements have been made but the general direction has been to make things worse not better through planned obsolescence, the internet of things & new ways to block access to repairs making things worse
