   Help #linux community! I need help with license questions.

   I guess #nixbook is growing up enough where people want to know what the license is. To be honest, I'm not an expert. I want it to be permissive and not impede adoption. I want it to be #foss

   There is currently a discussion about #gpl vs #mit vs #unlicense

   I'm not even sure what I CAN use since it's mostly just #nixos config.

   Thoughts?

     @codemonkeymike GPL is best. Only advantage MIT has is if you want people to be able to make a profit off of it without having to make their changes available .
