      Attached: 1 image Sadly I think this could be a large part of the problem. US politicians put party first and country a very poor second. So they are quite prepared to stand by and watch the moral economic and social destruction of their country simply in the hope they will win the next election. The USA is the manifestation of all that is wrong with first past the post politics. It produces acute polarisation and binary choices which do not reflect public opinion. It produces no more than vacuous confrontation
