Dell is selling brand new, 1700$ servers with Pentiums and DDR5. what the fuck. how does this market segment exist.
it's not like small businesses are going to use it; they're on saas or just social media. you can't even get a Windows server license for less than half the cost of the machine. who is this for.

i forgot how server manufacturers work. that's a 10k server configuration with a single EPYC, 32gb of ram, and a 500gb ssd.

@doskel I've seen these used to host hardware license dongles so the actual licensed software could live in a vSphere cluster.
