   So I think I'm going back to Hugo. I've invested time on my workflow with it which should solve my issues.

   On my laptops I use VSCode where I have 3 tasks, a "Create Draft" task and tasks to publish the draft now or later. The tasks and a "promote" script handle it all beautifully.

   Now I just need figure this out for my iPad where I think a combination of IA Writer templates and GitHub Actions will handle everything I need.

   If this works I think I'll be permanently done with WordPress.

     @chris That sounds terrific. Please document/blog that somewhere. I am currently using a webdav share where I put specially formatted iAWriter Markdown files in and then a script goes in and creates Frontmatter, changes formatting and commits it to GitHub. I also have a little Telegram chatbot. But it all feels very flimsy at the moment. So I'd be curious about your workflow

     @Hooper I haven’t looked at Zola but I will. Thanks!

     This will be my 3rd time switching my site to Hugo. I love SSGs, but always miss a CMS when I do. This time Im investing time in improving my workflow first. If I can nail that I think I’ll be much happier.

     @chris I have used Zola for a while and like it because it is fast. I host on AWS which is super cheap. Static site generators are awesome and it feels freeing not to be encumbered by a CMS and a DB. Hope it goes well.
