   Unpopular opinion: a rogue actor should intentionally initiate Kessler Syndrome. As beautiful as it is, we don't need access to space. Destroy multiple billionaires' "businesses"/investor scams and the prospect for space-based war waged by superpowers.

     @BenAveling That's with an intent *not* to cause Kessler Syndrome, though.

     Wouldn't you hit it pretty quickly with something like a satellite-sized pipe bomb?

     Counter equally unpopular opinion: Kessler Syndrome is a lot further away than ppl like to think.
     To happen, each collision must lead to >1 additional collision.
     (On average)
     And we’ve seen collisions happen. And so far, approximately 0 of them have led to any additional collisions. @dalias
