My husband has opted out of donating his organs. I love him to bits but if he goes first and has viable organs that would help others, I will be doing everything possible to make sure they get donated.

@fesshole In many places, the next of kin has to agree to sign off on the donor's choices upon their death.
If you think it's okay for you to disregard his wishes, then it's okay for him to do the same to you.
Organ donation is a wonderful thing but it's an option for a reason. The disposition of one's remains is a deeply personal decision.
