Feeling a bit overwhelmed.
Not much time to toot.
Reminding myself that it doesn't help to cross bridges before I get to them.
My feet have been bothering me for the last two months or so. They feel like they are burning all the time. I finally got in to see my doctor who is now worried so she made me worry.
It seems that pending more test results the most obvious reasons for burning feet aren't likely my reasons.
She is requesting more tests. The initial results show fairly extensive neuropathy.
Next is a brain scan.
I needed a minute to get used to the idea that my body is telling me that something is up. I am trying to listen. I have also been instructed to not fall down. I am doing my best.
I won't take gabapentin so that's that.
It looks like Summer will need to keep my feet warm too.
Thanks for listening.
I really am ok.
Just needed a minute.
Tonight's sunset.

That is so interesting. I have a red patch on my left calf. My left foot is my worst neuropathy problem too. I also suffer from restless leg.Steve's Place repeated this. -

@NorcalGma2 @amyedge @allisonhooper I have had RLS and PLMD all my life. Sleeping maybe a handful of nights all the way through over my entire lifetime. My beautiful older sister would rub my legs for me when I cried at night as a kid. My doc (hematologist) says Iron levels need to be much higher in patients with RLS — around 50 instead of 12. I have found iron transfusions extremely helpful for RLS.

I have restless leg, and they help. Also, I had a weird patch of eczema on one of my calves. According to Dr. Google, it could be a circulation issue that might be solved by compression socks. Lo and behold, it worked. I had that patch of eczema off and on for 10 years. -

Wearing compression socks have helped me with a few issues. They come in fun styles now. They are not as fun as Summer, though. -
