setprop bluetooth.profile.avrcp.target.enabled false
supposedly nukes the extremely obnoxious capability of bluetooth audio devices to send media/volume control input events.

If this works, I still need to figure out how to make it persist across reboot, I think...
In any case, it's so utterly stupid that this is not a per-device setting. And failure to make it an opt-in setting is a security bug. It's accepting input from a device potentially untrusted/unsafe for input. Especially if the pairing is weak, an attacker can probably spoof the device to send input events to your phone.

@alwayscurious Via adb shell or shell on the phone. Not sure if it needs root, probably not.
