@muteki it’s the default for a reason. That being said, I hired a financial advisor earlier this year who’s consistently beating the market because I was scared going it alone. I recommend finding somebody near you that is NAPFA certified: https://www.napfa.org/

I’m at a point where I’ll be maxing out all my tax-advantaged accounts this year and next, and am planning to start heavily investing in more ETFs, index funds, etc. I have an e-trade account I can use, but any recommendations on other companies that might be better suited for stuff like this? The #FIRE community is obsessed with Vanguard, but I’m hesitate to move over just because it’s the default.
